The statewide toll-free Consumer 800 Number operates from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Calls are taken in English, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese and Korean. Callers hear a brief initial greeting in English, followed by messages in each language to guide them to an appropriate operator. In addition, NCCC attempts two follow-up calls to all eligible women who call the Consumer 800 Number to determine if each woman has scheduled an appointment and received services.
