4th Annual African American Breast Cancer Conference


"Each One Reach One: Working Together to Make a Change"

The purpose of this conference is to raise awareness about breast cancer in African American communities throughout the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, with a special focus on mind, body, & spiritual healing. The conference will address the unique educational needs of African Americans through the provision of culturally appropriate information and resources to empower them to make informed decisions about their health, in addition to encouraging them to help others in their community by sharing and disseminating this information ("Each One, Reach One").

Intended audience includes: cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, family members, friends, advocates, health professionals/providers, and those in the general public who are interested in learning more about African Americans and breast cancer.

Registration
Due to an overwhelming response to attend this conference, we have had to close registration early. The conference is currently FULL and we are unable to accept any additional registrations. If you are interested in registering as a walk-in on the day of the event, please pay close attention to the following details:

  • Walk-in registration will begin no earlier than 9:30 am, based on availability of seats due to no shows.
  • We ask that you please not arrive prior to 9:30 am or carpool with a group of more than 3 people since we may be able to accommodate only a small number of individuals as walk-ins, if any.
  • Walk-in registration will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis and does NOT GUARANTEE seating.
  • There is NO COST to attend this event.
